Description

A simple gelatin based drink made with unflavored gelatin, cold water, and hot water. It can be enjoyed warm before meals or chilled into firm cubes.


Ingredients

1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder

1/2 cup cold water

1/2 cup hot water

Optional: lemon juice

Optional: apple cider vinegar

Optional: 1 teaspoon raw honey

Optional: pinch of pink Himalayan salt


Instructions

1. Sprinkle gelatin evenly over the cold water in a mug or bowl.

2. Let it stand for about 5 minutes until it becomes thick and sponge like.

3. Pour in the hot water and stir thoroughly until the gelatin dissolves completely.

4. Mix until the liquid is smooth, clear, and free of lumps.

5. Stir in any optional flavor additions if desired.

6. Drink warm, preferably 15 to 30 minutes before a meal, or refrigerate until set.

7. For gelatin cubes, chill for 2 to 4 hours, then cut into small pieces before serving.
