How to Make the Best Tahini Chocolate Date Dessert (Easy, Healthy & Irresistible)

Description

A simple no-bake tahini chocolate date dessert made with just 3 ingredients. Perfectly sweet, nutty, and freezer-friendly.


Ingredients

Scale

24 Medjool dates

1/4 cup tahini (well-stirred)

6 to 9 oz semisweet chocolate (or 1 to 1.5 cups chips)

Optional: flaky sea salt, chopped nuts, sesame seeds


Instructions

1. Line a tray with parchment paper.

2. Slice dates open lengthwise and remove pits.

3. Stir tahini until smooth and creamy.

4. Fill each date with about 1/2 teaspoon tahini and press gently to close.

5. Freeze the filled dates for 20 minutes until firm.

6. Melt chocolate in microwave or double boiler until smooth.

7. Dip each date in chocolate and shake off the excess.

8. Place back on tray and sprinkle with toppings.

9. Chill in fridge (30 min) or freezer (15 min) to set.

10. Serve chilled and store leftovers in fridge or freezer.

Notes

Use Medjool dates for best texture and flavor.

Whisk tahini well before using.

Try different toppings like citrus zest or crushed pistachios for variety.
