Description
A simple and hydrating pink salt trick recipe made with pink Himalayan salt, filtered water, and optional apple cider vinegar or lemon juice—perfect as a morning wellness ritual.
Ingredients
4 tablespoons pink Himalayan salt
½ cup filtered water (for concentrate)
1 teaspoon of the salt concentrate OR 1 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
1 cup filtered room-temperature or warm water
Optional: 1 tsp unfiltered apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
Optional: squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Optional: 1 tsp raw honey
Instructions
1. Add 4 tablespoons of pink Himalayan salt to a glass jar
2. Pour in ½ cup of filtered water, leaving a bit of room at the top
3. Seal the jar with a non-metal lid and let it sit for 12–24 hours
4. Once ready, scoop 1 teaspoon of the saturated salt solution (Sole water)
5. Add it to 8–12 oz (1 cup) of filtered, room-temperature water
6. Stir well before drinking
7. Add lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, or raw honey if desired
8. Drink slowly first thing in the morning
Notes
You can skip the overnight step and stir a teaspoon of pink salt directly into your water
Do not drink more than once per day
Use filtered water for best results
Avoid if you’re on a low-sodium diet or have heart/kidney issues
